3. Quotations & Pricing

Quotations are generally based on the information provided by the customer, including pickup location, destination, quantity of goods, access conditions and services required.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about the move and ensuring reasonable access to the pickup and delivery locations.

• Inform us about fragile, valuable, oversized or special items.
• Arrange required entry permissions, parking or building approvals where necessary.
• Keep important documents, cash, jewellery and other high-value personal belongings under personal supervision.
• Confirm that all required items have been loaded and delivered.

5. Booking & Scheduling

Booking dates and times are subject to availability and may depend on distance, traffic, weather, route conditions, labour availability and other operational factors.

If you need to change or cancel a booking, please inform our team as early as possible.

6. Payments

Payment terms will be communicated during the quotation or booking process. Where an advance is required, a booking may not be treated as confirmed until the agreed payment has been received.

Any remaining balance should be paid according to the payment schedule agreed for the service.

7. Packing & Handling

We aim to handle belongings carefully and use suitable packing practices based on the nature of the items and the service booked.

Items packed by the customer may not have been inspected by our team before transportation. Customers should ensure that self-packed items are packed securely.

8. Restricted or Prohibited Items

Customers should not include dangerous, illegal, hazardous, explosive, flammable, highly perishable or otherwise restricted items in a shipment unless their transportation has been specifically discussed and lawfully agreed.

RIC Packers & Movers may refuse to transport any item that presents a safety, legal or operational risk.

9. Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances

Estimated pickup and delivery times may be affected by traffic, weather, road restrictions, vehicle issues, government restrictions, natural events or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

10. Liability

Any liability relating to loss or damage will depend on the circumstances of the move, the agreed scope of service and any specific written terms provided for the booking.

Customers should report any visible issue as soon as reasonably possible after delivery so it can be reviewed.
